3 Simple Ways to Embody Main Character Energy in Your Business

3 Simple Ways to Embody Main Character Energy in Your Business

To create a wildly successful business, you need to embody main character energy. By playing in this energetic frequency, you can create a strong sense of personal power while having fun.

So, let’s get started on three simple ways you can embody main character energy in your business.

Exploring + Plugging Energy Leaks

A woman who embodies powerful main character energy in her business has a radiance about her. She has enough energy to move through her day feeling powerful and nourished and an overflow of energy to give to those around her. She feels inspired and creative. She has enough energy to exercise, do yoga, and practice meditation.

Women often leak their energy over time by not pulling in from the resources around them. A woman who embodies her main character energy knows how to prioritize herself and take the nourishment available to her in nature, sex, food, and love.

It’s easy as entrepreneurs to give, give, give because that’s what we’ve been conditioned to do, not just in business but in life. But energetically powerful women know how to cycle energy with their environment. They fill themselves, first and foremost, and then energy naturally overflows into their relationships, business, and communities.

Energetic Inventory

I want you to identify areas in your business that don’t feel aligned. Some examples are not taking up space, not having boundaries, overgiving, or poor self-talk. Next, identify how each area causes you to lose energy and why you are doing it. Lastly, what would your reality look like if you practiced the opposite? I want you to experience that reality through your five senses and regularly tap into that energetic frequency so you can begin to embody that main character energy.

Reclaim Your Material Empowerment

Material empowerment is about eliminating the fear of money. People often find themselves at either end of the spectrum—either living with poverty or a greed mindset—and both are rooted in fear.

If you’re living with a poverty mindset, you fear making a lot of money in your business because it either makes you a terrible, selfish person or you think that if you stay below a certain threshold, you can somehow take down capitalism. Greed is based in fear, too; you’re always worried that what you make won’t be enough or that it can quickly all go away.

Being empowered around the money you make in your business is about having a relationship with money that isn’t based in fear. It’s about seeing money for the balance, blessing, and resource that it is. To embody main character energy in your business, you must have a grounded, balanced, healthy relationship with the money you receive and spend.

A woman embodying main character energy in her business charges what she’s worth. She’s comfortable with money and may even love money! She isn’t stuck in survival mode, living paycheck to paycheck without health insurance. She’s thriving financially with enough to have a savings account, invest in what matters to her, pay her taxes, and celebrate!

She understands the financial situation in her business and recognizes the level of empowerment that comes from owning her financial choices.

A woman empowered around money has an empowering story about it. She might tell herself that if she makes more money, she can thrive, be in greater service to her community, and make empowered choices about her business and the lifestyle she desires to live.

Create a Money Plan:

I want you to ask yourself, “What do I need, and how am I going to get it?”

You may need to increase your rates, invest properly, or save more money. Each money plan will be unique.

However, each money plan should have action steps towards a clear goal: “I will be making this much money per year,” “I will be saving this much per month,” or “My business will make this much profit yearly.”

Next, I want you to identify two action steps you need to take to start moving towards that goal. Once you’ve identified those two action steps, break each down into bite-size action steps.

Cultivate Agency

Agency is taking action in the material world as a result of having power. You have agency if you take action in the direction of what you desire. Most women who have agency and embody main character energy have made it a habit. However, that’s okay if you have yet to make a habit of it. It’s easy to get stuck spinning your wheels and not taking action, thanks to thousands of years of disempowering conditioning.

Embodying main character energy in your business is about taking action. If you want the clients, the authority, the money, or anything else, you have to take action.

Reclaiming Your Agency:

I want you to list your top three desires. For each desire, jot down three outward-focused (Yang) and three inward-focused (Yin) actions you can take toward your desires. Next, ask yourself who you need to be to take those action steps.

A great practice is empowering the main character archetype to take those action steps. Act as if you’re her because you are. You can empower this archetype through how you dress, breathwork, dance, meditation, etc. Then you can step into the narrative of a woman who has agency and takes action in her business in alignment with her desires and dreams.
